Recognizing the contribution and exceptional performance in the Insurance Sales filed, champs of HNB Assurance PLC (HNBA) were awarded at the National Sales Congress (NASCO) organized by the Sri Lanka Institute Marketing (SLIM) recently. HNBA representatives, Ms. R. M. S. Chandika won the Gold Award in the Front Liner Category, Mr. K. U. Madushanka was awarded the Bronze Award in the Sales Supervisor Category and Mr. U. C. Munasinghe was the recipient of the Bronze Award in the Territory Manager Category. HNB Assurance PLC (HNBA) recently announced that the Company had produced 113 MDRT qualifiers for the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table Conference (MDRT) in the United States of America. This brilliant achievement bears great importance as the Company surpassed its number of qualifiers in the previous year, setting a new record for 2020. Amongst the top achievers are 2 Top of the Table qualifiers (TOT) and 8 Court of the Table (COT) qualifiers. HNB Assurance PLC (HNBA) and HNB General Insurance Limited (HNBGI) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID) recently. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Lasitha Wimalaratne, Chief Executive Officer of HNBA, Mr. Sithumina Jayasundara, Chief Executive Officer of HNBGI as well as Mrs. Radika Obeysekere, Chief Executive Officer of SLID. Sharing his views, Mr. Lasitha Wimalaratne stated, “This special agreement formalizes the mutual interaction between HNBA, HNBGI and SLID and sets the foundation for an exciting and strategic partnership between the three entities. I’m thankful to the Management of SLID for the opportunity and looking forward to this year’s event calendar”.
